Just keep breathing, just keep breathing, lala lala …..

Dory’s message was to “just keep swimming”….

Well… I say, Just keep breathing. Disney is always on to something when they put out a movie as wonderful as “Finding Nemo”…. The message that Dory chanted over and over again was “Just keep swimming”. That no matter what happens, just keep swimming!

Breathe for a while, channel your focus and keep breathing….. focus on the breathe! The yoga rituals that speak to you…. However,  I really love those movies that can keep both adults and kids entertained and still be subtle in their messages to the audience. “Just breathe” has become some what of a notion for me, my daily mantra. Giving it much more meaning that just the object to live.

During my photography sessions I am constantly telling my clients to breathe…

Guiding them to keep breathing helps to keep my client relaxed and ready for the camera. Sometimes I tend to get so focused on breathing and mental redirection that it relaxes the client into a slumber state. Other factors that play in my favor are that the rooms are warm and cozy. My voice is low and soothing. When you consistently speak to someone through out the shoot they stay focused on you and begin truly trust my guidance of them. “Just keep breathing”, I will say repeatedly. It does make a difference when directing my sales in the reveal session.

Breathing is your best asset to a calm and full-filled lifestyle…

Why wouldn’t anyone take advantage of the long term effects… right? Wrong.. many of us pass up the opportunity to learn how to better direct our thoughts. My opinion and experience suggests that people avoid this concept because it takes work and discipline. Who wants to live a life of daily discipline and work?? I DO… because I can completely comprehend the advantage it gives me for living life out loud and exactly the way I intend it to be! So call me a control freak… because I get how it sounds like I’m being a control a freak…but thats just too damn bad!
